April 2015's Charity Benefits: The Christa McAuliffe School in Concord’s “Take-a-Tote” Program

By the volunteer efforts and donations of a local church, the Christa McAuliffe School in Concord provides a “tote” full of food for 50 - 70 children a week who may not otherwise have enough to eat over the weekend. The food is delivered to the school weekly every Wednesday and taken home that Friday. Single serving, pre-packaged food is best because the child(ren) can open them on their own if needed. See below for more ideas on appropriate items to donate.

Potential Donations: Children range in ages as young as 1st grade, so please keep that in mind when picking out donatable goods.
