Since 1899, Concord Regional VNA has been committed to meeting the health needs of our patients, clients, and families. Today as the largest home health and hospice provider in the state, our notfor-profit, community-based agency offers people of all ages a wide range of personalized services and programs including home care, hospice, palliative (as part of Capital Region Palliative Care and Hospice), personal home services, and wellness programming.

  • Locked boxes (For mediaction safety/storage)
  • Headsets (Assists patients who have difficulty hearing)
  • Keurig® K-cup Pods (For family/visitors kitchen at Hospice House
  • Gas cards (For family members who need travel assistance to visit someone at Hospice House
  • Bird Feeders (Squirrel proof with rods/feeder poles for hanging)

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY • What Can A Volunteer Assist With?

  • Providing companionship to hospice patients
  • Reading to hospice patients
  • Holding a hand and lending a listening ear
  • Running errands for hospice patients
  • Cooking meals at the Hospice House
  • Giving Reiki, Massage, or Therapeutic Touch
  • Facilitating community education programs
  • Helping at a flu clinic
  • Connecting as a Veteran Volunteer with patients who are also veterans
  • Assisting staff with office work (e.g. filings, mailings)
  • Facilitating grief support groups
